Speaker 1: Today in this 2012 GMC Acadia, we'll be having a look at and showing you how to install the Weather Tech front auto floor mats in gray, part number WT462511. Also available in tan as part number WT452511 and cocoa, part number WT472511, and in black, part number WT442511.To begin our install, we'll start by removing our factory floor mat. And then we'll take our new mat and we'll slide it underneath our pedals. Place it down on our factory floor mat retention hook and twist to lock into place. And already you can see how much more coverage over the floor mat. We've placed our factory floor mat so you can see exactly how much more coverage we have.

We have much more behind it, much more around it, and quite a bit more underneath our gas and break pedals.as you'll notice, it extends way up our fire wall, giving us the most coverage possible to protect our carpet, even behind our pedals. Now when our customers come to us looking for replacement floor mats, many of them are looking for one that offers more coverage than the factory mat. And we certainly get that with this Weather Tech. It even covers up some of our foot rest here for our left foot when we're driving down the road. The mat does come up over our threshold making it much more difficult for dirt, and debris, and water to get down underneath the mat onto our carpet.

It follows along our seat tracks so nicely and around the entire perimeter of the mat. We do have a raised edge, which will help contain any spills that occur. Around our center console, we do have a cutout for the event to allow the maximum amount of airflow through to ensure that the components inside are ventilated properly. We have these nice channels that go across our mat to help divert any water, mud, dirt, or snow away from our feet as we're driving. This will ensure that our feet don't off of the pedals. Now, what I really like about these mats is that they fit our vehicle exceptionally well, and that's because Weather Tech takes the time to make ways or measurements of all the vehicles that they produce products for.

This ensures a proper fit. Also, these mats are made of a thermoplastic material, which won't crack, fade or break over the course of time. Now, as you can see over on our passenger side, the mat over here has the same great features as the one on the driver's side. With our passenger side factory floor mat laying over the Weather Tech mat, you can see how much more coverage we do gain with the Weather Tech mat. It's simply gonna offer us the most protection possible for our carpet, ensuring that we never have any damage to it. It extends way up underneath of our dash, follows all the contours of our vehicle very nicely and that's because of the ways or measurements.Cleaning these mats is a super simple process.

You can remove them from the vehicle, hose them off in your drive way, use some soap if you need it, let 'em air dry out in the sun, once they're dry, place 'em back in and your good to go. We also have the Weather Tech cleaner protector kit available on our website as part number WT8LTC36K.And that completes our look at and showing you how to install the Weather Tech front auto floor mats in gray, part number WT462511 on this 2012 GMC Acadia.
